We moved to a new office at work. We are now in Playa del Rey in a certified leed gold building, which includes toilets that warn you not to drink from them since they use reclaimed water. Not sure if that is necessary, but it is a great conversation starter when in the loo with a stranger. The commute is longer (about 15-25 minutes) which is a bitch, but I am now carpooling EVERY day of the week which is awesome.
We finally got all of Stella's allergy test results back and it is pretty crazy. Among a bunch of other things, she is allergic to: green peas, wheat, eggs, chicken, potatoes, 2 kinds of grass, a few kinds of dust, cockroaches...oh, and our CAT! The good thing is, she is only mildly allergic to the cat and they pretty much stay away from each other at all times. We are in the process of getting her onto all new foods to get a hold of those allergies. The environmental allergies are a little tougher, but she is a trooper and hopefully we will avoid this in the future.
I went on my first out of state solo business trip. Went to Dallas, cried no less than 3 times, learned a lot, never wish to return. Maybe I will blog about that little fiasco another time, or maybe not as I do not with to relive it!
The twin, David and the Bear just left for a week long trip to the east coast to visit David's family. I am not looking forward to not seeing that little Bear's face everyday. Then, Kirk and I leave for Vegas next Saturday morning (for his birthday) and they get back about 4 hours after we leave. So no Bear for another 2 1/2 days. Too much time away from the Bear is sad times...but the twin promised me she would send pics. I got this one from their layover in Dallas.
