1 Month...Time Flies

This little sweet thang turned 1 month old on Saturday!

My days are filled with this adorable face staring at me...sometimes screaming at me. He is starting to plump up for sure - especially his cheeks and chin, or should I say chins! His chicken legs are still kind of scrawny, but I am sure they will catch up with the rest of him.

He is staying up for longer chunks of time during the day, sometimes because he is super gassy and sometimes just to look around. He is finally starting to smile genuinely...not just because of gas. He loves to fold his hand together and stretch his feet/toes out all the time.

He enjoyed his first real bath, no more sponge baths for this kiddo. He loved to be in the warm water. He still hates to have his outfit changed and has started to hate being burped. He gets a stiff and straight as a board and fights us the whole time.

His sleeping is still the same at night - goes to sleep anywhere from 9 to 11 and then wakes up twice to eat, once around 1 am and then again at 5 am. Kirk gets the first feeding...I get the second.

He really has napping in style down pat!

He enjoyed his first play date with Piper.

He loves walks...and so do I since they are the only real exercise I am getting these days. They calm him down and he gets very stoic the whole time...this face says it all.

We watched Pride and Prejudice together and I loved every second of it. Kirk on the other hand woke up and came out to catch the end of it with us. He asked how I could watch it considering he "did not understand 80% of the dialogue." Apparently "you have bewitched me body and soul..." is not English to Kirk. Oh well. 

He had his first successful Face Time conversation. Karis was on the other end! 

Can't believe this first month has gone by so quickly. He changes so much every day and I am so thankful to be at home with him!
